The whole package of chassis, The 790 Adventure is geared just a tad too high for slower, technical riding or holeshots but the smaller front gear fixes this nicely. Despite that, the stock 790 will run the ¼ mile in about 11.5 seconds with a competent pilot at the helm. Not by resetting the front wheel size, there are only 2 options, the R setting (21") and the S/SD setting (19/17"). I have since installed Kevin's 44T ABS rings and now the speedo is spot on and the odo is off a mile every 30 on the GPS. Inline fours are great (smooth and ultimate high rpm power) but V2 (and now increasingly cross-plane crank inline twins) is probably the goldilocks zone for motorcycles - much smoother than thumpers and much lighter than fours. 33245 lap times and 40061 quarter mile, 0-60 times for 16397 cars and 610 bikes. 2010 KTM RC8 1190R specs, 0-60, lap The KTM 1190 Adventure R is considered one of the best off-road bikes->ke3133 in the market for good reason.
